Captain Wayne Gilbert Jr. a USCG licensed Captain who was born and raised in the west Miami area whos second home is the Florida Everglades. Growing up in the heart of the Everglades has been a blessing and an adventure to say the least. I'm Shane Procell, A USCG Liscensed Captain, I became a professional guide because I love people and fishing. I was born and raised in Louisiana where I became addicted to fishing. For the last twenty-three years I have been honing my bass fishing skills in Florida. I am strictly a artificial bait, light tackle guide.
The last 12 years I have been fished exclusively for bass in the Florida Everglades. I specialize in guiding my clientele into the little known, hard to access and rarely fished areas of the everglades. Areas that routinely produce triple digit stringers of bass. A few years ago I was fortunate to fish with Charlie Moore on his ESPN2 "Beat Charlie Moore" show. Since that appearance I have fished on ESPN2 and Versus T.V. and other networks.
